Role Overview
- We’re looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Manager to lead our financial operations.
- This is a hands-on role focused on project-based accounting, job costing, and financial visibility across multiple entities.
- You’ll play a key role in connecting finance with operations, ensuring real-time insights into project profitability, cost control, and cash flow.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
- Manage cash flow and monitor project financial performance
- Handle accounts payable/receivable with project-level tracking in QuickBooks
- Oversee general ledger structure and intercompany accounting
- Manage project accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting
- Analyze project profitability and provide variance insights
- Process payroll, ensure compliance with tax and labor laws
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience (with 3+ years in project/construction accounting)
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks (required)
- Strong experience in job costing, cost codes, and multi-entity accounting
- Solid knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
- Understanding of Nigerian tax laws and payroll regulations
Preferred Qualifications:
- ICAN / ACCA certification
- Experience in construction, manufacturing, or real estate
- Familiarity with tools like Planner, Procore, or similar
- Experience optimizing QuickBooks for project accounting.
