Sales Force Consulting - Our client is a major iron-rod, steel dealership company with factory headquarter locatedin Iyana Ipaja Lagos Statebut with majordealersand outlets in key cities of Nigeria.

They urgently require the services of highly motivated, passionate, and experienced individuals to fill the position below:

Job Title: Factory Manager

Job Description

• Candidate must possess basic experience in the design, installation, assembly, and repair of diverse steel production machines
• Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of the factory operations towards quality steel products.
• Supervise the entire workflow of factory operations, ensuring they meet their deliverables.
• Ensure scheduled maintenance of all machinery to forestall breakdowns
• Ensure that production achieves the company's operational goals.
• Draw up production planning and schedules according to demand & inventory level.
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Set up operating and quality standards, production processes, and ensure implementation.
• Supervise and evaluate the performance of production personnel, identify training needs, and execute them.
• Determine the necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc.) required
• Enforce health and safety precautions

Job Summary

• The Factory Manager is responsible for all factory production, maintenance operations, and administration, ensuring low down-times, production planning, and efficiency, utilizing effective management of workforce and materials to achieve set organizational goals.

Requirements

• B.Eng / HND in Production, Mechanical, or Electrical / Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum of 15 years of work experience in a steel manufacturing company.
• Must be less than 50 years of age

Other Conditions:

• Ideal candidates should presently reside in Ikeja or Alimosho LGA or the environs.
• They should be ready to be interviewed PHYSICALLY within one week

Other Conditions:

• They must be very hardworking, target-oriented, and with a high level of integrity
• He must preferably have worked or is currently working in a key steel manufacturing company with organized systems and procedures

Skill Set:

• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Attention to details
• Leadership skills
• Engineering skills.
