Job Summary

• We are seeking a Senior Account Officer in Surulere. We manufacture drugs locally and import select products, with medical sales representatives nationwide.
• You’ll manage full-cycle accounting, oversee field sales transactions, and ensure accurate financial reporting across our import and local production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable/payable for nationwide medical sales reps and distributors
• Reconcile daily sales, remittances, and expenses from field reps across Nigeria
• Process and track import transactions: LC, Form M, duties, clearing costs
• Handle cost accounting for locally manufactured products and production runs
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, and cash flow reports
• Maintain fixed asset register and monitor inventory valuations
• Ensure statutory compliance: VAT, WHT, CIT, and regulatory remittances
• Liaise with banks, auditors, NAFDAC, and other regulatory bodies
• Support budget preparation, variance analysis, and internal controls

Requirements

• BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field. ICAN/ACCA in view or qualified is a strong plus with 3-5 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing, FMCG, or pharma
• Solid experience with import accounting, inventory, and multi-location sales reconciliation
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, tax laws, and accounting software like Sage, QuickBooks, or ERP
• Advanced Excel skills: pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis
• High integrity, detail-oriented, and able to work with minimal supervision
• Experience managing field sales accounts across states is an advantage
• Resident in or able to commute easily to Surulere
